ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

 

Call for Abstracts

We invite delegates to submit abstracts based on original research and or innovation for the Healthcare Technology Conference. Abstracts can be submitted in one of the following fields:

  • eHealth (Telemedicine, mHealth, Health Information Systems)
  • Biomechanics
  • Health Innovation
  • Medical Devices
  • Mechanobiology
  • Medical Imaging
  • 2D & 3D Printing

All abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings. In addition, authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers for possible publication in the new journal Global Health Innovation, which is to be launched in early 2018. Abstracts will be peer reviewed by an expert panel, and invited full papers will undergo further review.

Guidelines for abstract submission

Abstracts must be written in English.

Only original work should be submitted.

At least one of the authors must attend the conference (please register prior to submission).

Please use the abstract template provided; the word count should not exceed 600 words.

The word limit for abstracts – 600 words for the content below

 Introduction: Type introduction here. Includes the rationale for study / key questions / issues addressed, objective of the study.

 Subjects and Methods: Type Methods here, includes the sample description and research design.

 Results: Type results here include major findings.

 Discussion / Conclusion: Type interpretation here, either under two separate headings or may combine under one. Discuss the results and / or conclude the implications of the findings.
